I'm in Dakar. Living the sweet life, which is about to get even sweeter in 12 days.
I recently discovered that I am now famous! If you go to http://watercharity.org and scroll down you will see my lovely well and can read all about what I've been doing here for the last 14 months! Literally 14 months. The well was finally completed last week. So, now I just need some volunteer to go out to my village and take some pictures for me. Likely? Probably not. It's ok though, I want to go back eventually.
I also posted a few more pictures of the last days in my village. The album is complete with cute, African baby pictures, too.

Thanks to the great work that you have done, and the projects started by 20 other PCVs in Senegal in the past year, we have been able to prove the viability of this funding model. We have obtained an increased funding commitment from a major benefactor, and are about to announce a new initiative for a coordinated effort to do 25 new projects in Senegal at once!
