All the volunteers huddled around the small TV in the foyer of the Training Center to watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. We saw the US walk in and the large entourage of golf caddy-esque team, but we had to go to class before Senegal came in to the stadium. However, as we were watching, I was amazed at how cool everything looked. I asked how much someone thought this production cost and someone said, "As much as we owe them." So, America get ready to make good on all those loans we have taken out!
It amazes me that I can watch the Olympic games here in Senegal!
